The Quiz Team of Center for Management Studies at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) organized The Fundamentalist 2020 on 29th February at CMS B-School campus, marking the end of the splendid CMS Festival. True to its significance, the participants appreciated the uniqueness of the classical format making The Fundamentalist the most competitive on-campus quiz. The format was designed to bring more openness to this national level quiz event, and make it more intuitive and challenging for the participants.
A total of thirty-six teams from world-renowned organizations like TCS, Capgemini, BigBasket, Titan, Infosys, Accenture, ITC, EY, Deloitte, HDFC Life to name a few, participated in the event. Apart from companies, many educational institutions like University College - Trivandrum, St. Joseph’s College of Commerce, St. Claret College, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) School of Commerce Studies, and Jain College took part in the quiz to prove their mettle.
Consisting of prelim and final round, the quiz event was hosted by Mr. Venkatesh Srinivasan of Nexus Consulting. Mr. B. Naveen Kumar and Mr. Jayakanthan R. of TCS and Sai Mitra Constructions emerged as winners and were awarded a cash prize of INR 30,000. While Mr. Thejaswi Udupa and Mr. Ajay Parasuraman were declared as the runners up and rewarded with INR 15,000 as the cash prize.
The event concluded on a great note thanks to the steady support of Dr. Dinesh Nilkant, Director, CMS B-School and the efforts of the event coordinators Rutick Shah and Raghav Mittal, the student coordinators - Ms. Jayshree and Abhishek Venkateshwar and the entire Management Fest Team of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) CMS B-School.
