    Bachelor of Business Administration in Sports Management

    BBA with a specialization in sports management is designed to prepare students for a management career in professional sports and recreation business. The program focuses on providing core educational skills, foundational understanding, and practice by allowing students to engage in experiential learning along with being made aware of the best practices observed in the business, related sports domains, and other allied industry partners.     The minimum qualification required to apply is a pass in the 10+2 examination in Science / Commerce/ Arts from PUC / ISC / CBSE or equivalent board.

    Program Objective:

    Sports Management is all about using management skills to plan, develop, organize, and market sports and related programs. There are numerous types of sports events and management activities that students will be trained on to plan and organize. This program will equip the students with:

    • Ability to comprehend knowledge of the Sports industry, to take part in substantive discussions, and to make decisions according to changing circumstances.
    • Ability to apply the knowledge gained in the management of sports according to the set operational and strategic aims, to follow the application process, and to make decisions.
    • Ability to carry out sports as a professional activity, to express and analyze information, problems, and to find solutions using a scientific approach.
    • Ability to assume responsibility of managing sports event, be able to work in a team, delegate and coordinate responsibilities.
