An initiative of the Marketing Club at Center for Management Studies, The GrahaQ Talk Show provides a real-world insight into Marketing through a series of talks with industry leaders and corporate professionals. This platform will offer opportunities to the students, who have opted for Marketing as a specialization, to enhance and excel in their experience outside of their classrooms.
GrahaQ - The Marketing Club Organized a Talk Show on November 21, 2020
The primary objective behind organizing this talk show was to enlighten the students about the real-world challenges and concepts in the world of Marketing through a series of talks with industry leaders and corporate professionals to widen the knowledge. Mr. Charit Anchan was the keynote speaker for the event is a Digital Marketing Manager at Amazon, Co-founder of Mirakurudigital.com, and a trainer at Upgrade. For the first episode of the talk show series, Mr. Charit emphasized the topic “How to Build a Career in Marketing”?
The students were elated to learn about the skills, the various opportunities available in this field, and the different profiles one could expect to join in this sphere. The speaker elaborated on how a business needs to have a solid digital presence to compete in the market amidst the growing globalization and technology. He also enlightened the students about the importance of digital marketing, internships, and certification courses to kick start their dream career in the field of marketing.
Overall the first session or the episode of GrahaQ - The Marketing Club series was insightful and informative with students looking forward to the next session.
NAT- Networking and Analysis Team Organized a “Student Development Program”, on January 27, 2021
Student Development Program is the integration of academic learning programs with the larger issues of personal improvement and individual growth. It is a student-centered, holistic experience focused on understanding and demonstrating values, nurturing skills, moving towards knowledge, and enabling them to hone their skills in the world around them. Students all across various universities in India took part in this session. The keynote speaker was Mr. Karan Shah, founder of IIDE - The Indian Institute of Digital Education (IIDE). He has trained more than 40,000 students and large corporates online and offline. Mr. Karan Shah informed the students regarding how to “Digitalize Yourself”. As the Internet becomes entwined with everything we do, the importance of digital marketing is becoming crystal clear. Thus, the objective of this Student development Programme was to accentuate why a business needs digital marketing to grow and thrive.

The keynote speaker for this session was Dr. Dinesh Nilkant, Dean–Management and Director of Center for Management Studies, CMS Business School and Admissions, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Bengaluru. Ideation, strategy, motivation, business excellence and inspiring, mentorship are the hallmarks of Dr. Dinesh Nilkant's leadership. He has with remarkable focus, steered the course of the major management and media schools of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), both undergrad and post-grad, with admirable success. In this session, the idea of adapting to a “Shift” in one's life and education was discussed. Change is the only constant and every student in his or her life faces crossroads. Dr. Dinesh Nilkant addressed how important it is for the students to create a "Shift" from their monotonous life.
