Centre for Management Studies, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) organized Lumiere 2019 – An Intra-Collegiate Media Festival on 27 and 28 November 2019. The Chief Guest of this event was Mr. Varun Agarwal, who through his talk inspired the students and gave them his 10 steps towards success.
The theme of Lumiere 2019, was ‘Digital Dystopia’. Through Lumiere, awareness was spread about the ill effects that technology may have on mankind and how its use finally lies in our hands. Each class was divided into Media Houses and took part in exciting events such as Media Manager, Media Wars, Public Relations, Advertising, Future Politician, Media Quiz, Where’s my remote and Film Making. These events portrayed unique and entertaining ways of interacting with media, in order to prove themselves to be the best media house. BBA - section ‘I’ of 6th Semester, took the overall trophy proving themselves to be the best media house of CMS. The class of BAJ, section ‘A’ of the 4th semester were the runners up.
