An ancient practice that is prevalent even in the modern age, Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual practice that helps an individual to attain a state of harmony at every level of existence. The power of yoga is very beneficial to the students because it relieves stress, anxiety, improves concentration, and enhances memory along with attention span. Hence, on the occasion of International Yoga Day, Jain (Deemed- to- be University) with the National Service Scheme (NSS) committee of the college celebrated International Yoga Day on 21st June 2018. Yoga sessions were conducted by the volunteers of the Isha Foundation. The event was divided into two sessions: morning and afternoon, where there were 40 participants including faculty and students.
