Center for Management Studies, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) in association with The Good Quest Foundation, a group of Bangalore's working professionals committed for community work celebrated the 72nd Independence Day at the Bangalore Observation Centre, Madiwala (referred to as the Bangalore Juvenile Home) on 15 August 2018.The celebrations witnessed a plethora of cultural programs rite from dances on patriotic numbers to songs and speeches by the children of observation center. The volunteers of the Good quest Foundation presented Drama and Mime on moral values.
The celebrations were much liked by the children and staff at the observation center. A Talk by Mr. Syed, who once lived in the Special homes at Mumbai, now an inspirational orator, pursuing his M.Sc. in psychology and counselling inspired the children. His words "If I can, each one of u too can" kept echoing in our hearts throughout. Mr. Ashok Jerciline, a core team volunteer of Good Quest Foundation shares, “We are happy that we had the privilege of celebrating Independence Day with the children of the observation center, this program helped us share our love and concern for them".
