Eligibility
Pre-University / SYJC / 12th Standard in any discipline. Step 1:
To get the prospectus and application from the office. The cost of BBM application form is INR 250/-.
To receive the same by courier(domestic) please send a Demand Draft for INR 500/- for BBM application form.
For foreign students the cost of BBM application form is USD 50
Note: The Demand Draft should be in favour of "Center for Management Studies" payable at Bangalore. The Demand Draft should be couriered to the below address.

Step 2:
Submit the filled application form to admissions office at the address mentioned above along with 2 Photocopies of 10th and 11th marks card and 2 recent passport size color photos.
Note: Only duly fillled application form will be accepted.

Selection Procedure
Review
Once your application has been reviewed, the CMS Admission Office will conduct the Jain Entrance Test according to the schedule opted by you.
Entrance Test
The written test will consist of 4 sections (total 100 marks) and additionally a psychometric test.
Section 1: Essay Writing – 20 Marks. Standard Essay Writing Skills
Section 2: Basic English – 20 Marks. Please refer to the New Wren & Martin sections that covers - Vocabulary, Antonyms,
Synonyms, English Usage, Comprehension, Sentence Construction, etc.
Section 3: Basic Mathematics – 20 Marks. Please refer to the 12 standard mathematics syllabus. Topics to be covered will be Averages, Simple / Compound Interest, Percentages, Profit & Loss, Ratio & Proportion, Time & Distance Stocks & Shares, etc.
Section 4: General Business Knowledge – 40 Marks. Under this section in General Business Knowledge, please refer standard
Business Magazines, Newspapers on National & International Current Affairs.
Presentation
Candidates are asked to make a brief presentation of 3 minutes duration on an issue that is relevant to the course experience. This presentation is judged on the basis of certain pre-determined criteria. The topic of the presentation will be given 12 hours prior for preparation. Transparency sheet and a marker will be provided to all the eligible candidates.
Group Discussion (GD)
The Group Discussion is one of the vital components of the selection procedure and it is an informal exercise that facilitates the exchange of ideas on a given subject or topic. The GD is a powerful tool for assessing personality traits, leadership qualities and attitudes.
Personal Interview
The final rung of the ladder involves a personal interview. Candidates who have emerged successful from the other levels will be called to attend a personal interview with the CMS Admission Committee.
Final Decision
On completion of the personal interview, the CMS Admission Committee will review your application again, carefully re-evaluating your personal details, presentation, performance at the Group Discussion, and the conclusions drawn from your interview. After this, they will arrive at the final decision.
